A little bit about me and my work
I am an experienced clinical family therapist and counselor, with a background in both mental health and education settings. People's stories hold significance for me in comprehending behavior patterns.
My mission is to empower individuals and families to develop insight and build stronger, more supportive relationships.
In counseling, I utilise a family therapy framework that views each person within the context of their family and social relationships.

Testimonials
“For the past 5 years I have looked forward to my chats with Miri. I genuinely don’t think I could have made it through without talking things through and understanding different perspectives. She helped by keeping me in check when I overreacted or validating and reassuring my concerns when I was excessively worried!!”
“I’ve talked to Miruna about some of the things I struggle to tell even the closest people of my life and she really helped me through it. I find it hard to talk to friends sometimes, so I can’t express how grateful I am to talk to someone about these things.
In sessions I could talk about the stressors from my family and academic culture, and I think that really helped me realise that I can and should be more confident or back myself (both in studies and in general) which I’ve struggled to do my entire life.
I want to express my gratitude and make it known that the conversations really helped”
“I had the pleasure of partaking in family therapy with Miri back in 2020, on a regular basis for approximately twelve months.
Our time together included individual sessions as well as family meetings, depending on our changing needs as issues arose.
We all felt very comfortable talking to Miri, as she provided a comfortable environment for us to talk openly, without judgment. Miri guided us to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves as individuals, and our relationships within the family unit.
I am grateful for the experience we had during our time in therapy, and continue to see the positive effects on our family.”
